GAZA: Corona virus analysis has continued in the Gaza Strip after Israel allowed five testing kits acquired by the World Health Organization into the region, a Gaza health ministry representative said on Monday.
However, the spokesperson, Ashraf al-Qidra, said that the kits would be of limited instantaneous help because they can be used to examine only 500 people in a populated zone of 2 million.
Ashraf al-Qidra said that we started testing instantaneously after receiving the kits. Qidra said further that we need to carry out these assessments all the time and therefore; we will need thousands of testing kits for complete assessments.
So far, Gaza has 13 confirmed cases of Corona Virus. Israel has sustained a blockade of the Ghaza region for more than a decade.
