Responsibilities

Main duties are to prepare financial reports and analysis required by the management. Manage the designated accounting sections to perform effectively and according to company's standards and policies. Perform direct supervision of key accounting activities. Perform the reconciliations of statement and accounts. Verify documents evidencing disbursement of funds.

Job Description

  • Provides the appropriate level of professional, courteous and caring service to other employees (internal customers) and other visitors to the division.
  • Understands thoroughly the organization's objectives in managing Account Receivables so as to provide an effective system to track Accounts Receivables.
  • Understand the manual for this position, to maintain and update it as required. .
  • Be fully conversant with the credit policy and procedures.
  • Ensures the accuracy of all charges and credits posted to the individual accounts.
  • Processes invoices/folios promptly and to render interim and monthly statements and follow-up letters on a timely basis.
  • Ensures that the posting of invoices and settlements is up-to-date and that payments are correctly aged.
  • Directs subordinates to ensure productivity meets standards given in accordance with the organization's Standards and Criteria.
  • Is knowledgeable in statutory legislation in taxes, employee and industrial relations.
  • Maintains strong, professional relationship with the relevant representatives from competitor hotels, business partners and other organizations.
  • Responds to changes in the Accounting function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.
  • Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • 1-3 years in accounts receivable or general accounting experience
  • Excellent English oral and written skills
  • Ability to handle high volume with attention to detail

Job Responsibilities
Print AR Ledger from Opera, collect folio, long bill and supporting document from Income Auditor, verify accuracy of document against AR Ledger. In case of error, prepare adjustment document. If increase income, prepare Adjust Debit. If decrease income, prepare Rebate Credit. - Post transaction to Opera AR system. Check completeness of transfer report against AR Ledger. - Prepare daily invoice for Travel Agent / customer from opera / excel and send to Assistance Manager for approval. - Prepare invoice for corporate office, hotel's participant and summary of oversea invoice every 10 day. - Submit approved invoice to Senior Credit Officer for billing process. - Other jobs as requested

Job Requirements
1. Minimum education of Bachelor degree in Accounting, Business Administration or relevant discipline.
2. Minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience. Previous hotel accounting experience is essential.
3. Good knowledge in Accounting and taxation.
