Sandra Bulk and Channing Tatum revealed that they met after a fight between their daughters.
Sandra Bulk and Channing Tatum consider the unfortunate circumstances when they met. The two actors acted together in the recently released action-comedy film The Lost City.
In a new interview with the New York Times, the co-stars revealed that their first meeting took place in the office of the principal of their children's preschool when a fight broke out between Leila Bulk and Evelyn Tatum.
"I blocked it all," Tatum said of the incident.
"There's something PTSD associated with it," Bulk joked. "We met in the principal's office at the preschool through the play. We were called together because Avery and Leila were trying to get the other out, and we prayed that it was the other's child who was hurting.
Avery, eight, and Leila, 10, have become good friends since then, during the time they spent together in the Dominican Republic where The Lost City was filmed.
"That's why we made this film, so they have a long, COVID-safe playdate," Bulk said. We even brought down motorcycles. All we could think about was that Avery and Leila were just living their lives.
Bulk later said he believed she had met Tatum before the principal's office: "I think we met for the first time at my birthday party. You were a plus one."
The Lost City also includes Daniel Radcliffe and Brad Pitt.
