Sidhu Moose Wala murder's CCTV Footage 

 

Moose Wala, a Congress candidate in the recent Punjab elections, and two others were shot at while driving in a jeep in Mansa district.

According to The Tribune, Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead in Jahawarke village of Punjab's Mansa district. 

Two others were injured when the assailants opened fire on the jeep in which they were traveling.

The attackers have not yet been identified. 

The attack occurred just one day after the Punjab government withdrew security cover for 424 people, including Moose Wala, according to NDTV.

Moose Wala and two others were taken to Mansa Hospital following the attack, according to ANI.

"Three people were brought to the hospital, one of whom was Sidhu Moose Wala," said Ranjeet Rai, a civil surgeon at the hospital. 

"The two injured have been referred to a higher institute for further treatment after receiving primary care."

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (Mansa) Gobinder Singh, several bullets struck Moose Wala.

According to The Tribune, police suspect gangsters were involved in the attack. 

According to the newspaper, gangsters based in Canada recently demanded ransom from a number of Punjabi artists.

Moose Wala ran for the Punjab Assembly on a Congress ticket from Mansa, but was defeated by Aam Aadmi Party leader Vijay Singla.
