Samsung Galaxy S24: Everything You Need to Know

 

Samsung is one of the leading smartphone brands in the world, and every year, it releases a new flagship series that showcases its latest innovations and features. 

The Samsung Galaxy S23 series, which launched in February 2023, was a great success, offering powerful performance, stunning displays, impressive cameras, and long-lasting batteries.

Design and Display:

According to various sources, the Samsung Galaxy S24 series will not have a major design overhaul from the previous generation. 

The Galaxy S24 Ultra will likely retain the same design language as the Galaxy S23 Ultra, with a large 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, a metal frame, and a rectangular camera module on the back. 

However, one notable change is that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will reportedly switch from aluminum to titanium for its frame, making it more durable and premium. The Galaxy S24 Ultra will also have flat sides, similar to the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

The Galaxy S24 Plus will also have a similar design as the Galaxy S23 Plus, with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, a metal frame, and a rectangular camera module on the back. 

However, unlike the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the Galaxy S24 Plus will not have titanium for its frame, but rather Armor Aluminum, which is still a strong material.

The Galaxy S24 will be the smallest and most affordable of the trio, with a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, a metal frame, and a rectangular camera module on the back. The Galaxy S24 will also have Armor Aluminum for its frame.

All three devices will have water and dust resistance, stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a punch-hole selfie camera on the front. 

However, only the Galaxy S24 Ultra will have an S Pen stylus support, which is one of its unique features.

Performance and Battery:

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series will be powered by either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or the Exynos 2400 chipset, depending on the region. 

Both chipsets are expected to offer significant improvements in performance, efficiency, and graphics over their predecessors. 

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is rumored to have a 3GHz octa-core CPU and an Adreno 730 GPU7, while the Exynos 2400 is rumored to have a 2.9GHz octa-core CPU and an AMD RDNA 2 GPU.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series will also have different RAM and storage options. The Galaxy S24 Ultra will likely have 12GB or 16GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. 

The Galaxy S24 Plus will likely have 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. The Galaxy S24 will likely have 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series will also have large batteries that support fast charging and wireless charging. The Galaxy S24 Ultra will likely have a 5,000mAh battery, while the Galaxy S24 Plus will likely have a 4,900mAh battery. 

The Galaxy S24 will likely have a 4,000mAh battery. All three devices are expected to support at least 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series will have impressive cameras that can capture stunning photos and videos in various scenarios. 

The Galaxy S24 Ultra will likely have a quad-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 108MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and another 10MP telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra will also have a laser autofocus sensor and an LED flash. The Galaxy S24 Ultra will be able to record up to 8K videos at 30fps or up to 4K videos at 120fps.

The Galaxy S24 Plus will likely have a triple-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. 

The Galaxy S24 Plus will also have a laser autofocus sensor and an LED flash. The Galaxy S24 Plus will be able to record up to 8K videos at 30fps or up to 4K videos at 120fps.

The Galaxy S24 will likely have a triple-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. 

The Galaxy S24 will also have a laser autofocus sensor and an LED flash. The Galaxy S24 will be able to record up to 8K videos at 30fps or up to 4K videos at 120fps.

All three devices will likely have a 12MP selfie camera on the front, which can record up to 4K videos at 60fps.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series will also have various features that enhance the user experience. For example, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a satellite SOS feature that can send emergency messages and location data to authorities or contacts via satellite networks, even without cellular or Wi-Fi coverage.
